Your Views Matter

Do you want the vending machines restocked more quickly in the library?
Do you want an Xbox in the social spaces?
Do you want to be able to borrow more books?
Do you want 24 hour access to a campus shop?
Do you hate the car parking here?
Do you want more help getting a job?

IF YOU DON'T ASK, YOU DON'T GET!!!!

On Wednesday 8th February from 12.15-1.45pm, all the managers of front-line student services at Keele will be in the ballroom ready to get your suggestions on how to do things better. To thank you for your time, they're happy to buy your lunch- so pop in and talk to them about any aspect of life as a Keele student and fill your boots with free sandwiches, crisps and cake.

here's a list of who from the University side will be there:

• Marilyn Andrews – Pro Vice-Chancellor Education and Student Experience
• Claire Snape – Assistant Director - Commercial & Student Services
• David Gray – Head of Security
• Sue Underwood – Head of Accommodation Services
• Angela Dale – Head of Sport
• Sue Warrender – Head of Catering and Retail
• Joanne Watts – Library Services
• John White – Assistant Director – IT Services
• Claire Slater-Mamlouk - Student Life & Learning Manager
• Maureen Cook - Disability & Dyslexia Support Manager
• Helen Johnson – Head of Student Financial Support
• Lisa McWilliams – Careers Service Adviser

Think these things are just a PR stunt? Here’s a list of stuff that happened because of what students said at previous sessions:

Library provision scheduled to go 24/7 during term time – bus companies cut prices – no teaching for first years during freshers’ week – wireless scheduled to be put into halls – more support for off-campus students – full review of sport facilities provision – loads more, but we’ve run out of room!
