VE Awards are given by the university to recognise the hard work and effort that you have contributed to society in your time at Keele. The awards are:

Bronze Award (Introduction to Volunteering)- need to complete 25 hours in a voluntary placement
Silver Award (Understanding a Voluntary Organisation) - need to complete 50 hours in a voluntary placement
Gold Award ( Team Work Skills) - need to complete 75 hours in a voluntary placement + a training session on team work
Platinum Award- need to complete 100+ hours and organise and event (contact Sarah for further details)

How to gain your certificate:
1) Complete the VE registration forms
2) Complete the VE volunteer Placement form
3) Fill in your hours log sheet
4) Decide which award you want to work towards ( you don't have to do them in order)

If you dont want to complete the award booklets you can log your hours with VE and get a Positive Contribution to Society Award from Keele University instead (contact Sarah for more details)
