Socialist Students is a democratic campaigning organisation with groups in universities and colleges throughout Britain. We played a leading role in the fight against fees and cuts in the last academic year. We say that education is a right not a privilege - no to all cuts, fees and privatisation.As well as this, we campaign on a range of other issues. Racism, sexism, homophobia are all rooted in capitalism and are aimed at dividing ordinary people. We oppose the BNP and EDL, and have been important to organising counter demonstrations when the EDL have marched. We say no to war and imperialist intervention and fight for solidarity between working class and young people across the world. Anyone who considers themselves a socialist or would like to find out more about socialism is welcome to join.
