Keele Pre-Hospital and Emergency Care Society is open to anyone with   an interest in emergency medicine. We have regular teaching and skills sessions with North Staffordshire BASICS, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Community First Responders, emergency doctors and nurses, and other services such as the fire service and search and rescue...As well as regular social nights throughout the year :) Sessions cover skills such as first person on scene immediate care structure, BLS, airway management, mechanism of injury, ECG, scene safety and extrication, head injury, trauma, and much more. Membership is £5 for the year and current members include medical students, nurses, community first responders, doctors and anyone else with an interest. We also help fundraise for North Staffordshire BASICS and Keele Community First Responders. Thanks and hope to see you soon!
