We aim to campaign against racist and fascist ideas and the organisations that spread those beliefs, like the BNP and the EDL. This means marching against them when they march and campaigning against them at election time. This organisation will be affiliated to no political party. We're a society dedicated to paediatrics (children's medicine) and although most of us are medical students, other students are very welcome. Throughout the year we host lectures about various aspects of paediatric care and events to raise money for the Donna Louise Children’s hospice. Our main purpose is to promote equality on campus (luckily, there isn't a lot of inequality at Keele) so we are free to pursue other projects. We have meetings every fortnight with vibrant discussions of relevant topics. We have two campaigns planned for the coming year, a domestic violence campaign in November and a positive image campaign in March. This year we are going to launch the long awaited Keele Street Team, to make sure there is a huge presence on our dark and scary campus at night! And Look out for our show on Kube radio!
