Keele Animanga is a society for those who enjoy watching or reading anime/manga or for those who don't and want to find out more about it! The society aims to educate people in terms of this genre by introducing them to different anime or manga. There's an anime session once every week (we're aiming for this to be Wednesday) in which we'll put on an anime or two for 3-4 hours! The Keele Animation and Programming society is here for everyone of every skill level. The society aims to teach various programming languages and animation (computer) techniques to those interested, regardless of their course here at Keele, and find ways for those skills to be utilised and improved and at the same time create valuable opportunities for our members while keeping it interesting and fun.

The Keele University Film Society is run BY students FOR students. We provide a free entry in-house cinema at the Students’ Union, providing the latest blockbusters to hit DVD as well some of the more critically acclaimed films.
The society hosts a double-feature every fortnight in K2, alternate screenings in Barista, AND a selective social calendar known as PROJECT MAYHEM.

KSFFS is primarily a film society. At our weekly meetings we watch sci-fi or fantasy related films and TV shows (frequently followed up by a visit to one of the campus bars). As well as film nights on campus, we regularly visit the cinema in Newcastle to catch the latest releases. We are a very inclusive society, and encourage members to share films from their own collection on our film nights, and any suggestions for a film you may not have seen will be seriously considered. Team Yearbook put together a book as a memento of the entire year at Keele, for EVERY student. If you're interested in photography, journalism, marketing, sales...or just want to make a lot of new friends, then this is for you. Former members now work for the BBC and national newspapers. You do NOT need experience or specific skills, training will be given where needed, and volunteering accreditations are available. There's cupcakes too.
