Union concourse

The Students' Union exists to represent students and to provide for their well being. Without the Union the students would have no collective voice with which to speak to the University.

Day to day running of the Union is handled by a number of permanent staff whilst policy and direction is determined by the elected student officers. The elected officers are in turn, answerable to the student body, which is why its important that as a student you attend UGMs (Union General Meetings) or stand to become a member of SC (Student Council)

The Students' Union at Keele provides its members with a range of commercial and non-commercial services. The commercial services include the bars, shop, catering and print shop, which fund the non-commercial services such as the Independent Advice Unit & the Jobshop.

There are also numerous societies which any member of KUSU can join. Opportunities to do so include the Freshers' Fair which takes place during Freshers' week, and Refreshers' Fair which takes place towards the end of January. However, all societies have email addresses which makes them available throughout the year.
