Wow things are really starting to get exciting in the redevelopment! It's starting to look bigger and brighter by the day. Just have a look at these latest pictures of the ground floor. Also the new Concourse area is coming along nicely and really taking shape. You can now start to see how the area is going to look with the shape of the area being outlined as well as small walls being created.

A few more pictures just to show you how things are progressing on the ground floor and also to show you the new open space area that's being created for the new social space. This teamed together with the lovely big windows is sure to make the new social space nice, bright, spacious and flexable.
Redevelopment & Concourse End of April
Things are really beginning to take shape now both with the ground floor redevelopment and the Concourse area.
As you might of seen, parts of the new Concourse area have been revealed and opened up for use including the new star shaped seating blocks that really stand out, look fab and provide a great place for you to sit with friends while the sun is shining. Works are still going on to the Concourse area so access if still quite restricted.
Also you might of seen that the front of the Students' Union building now has beautiful new floor to ceiling windows, want to see whats been going on beyond those shiny new windows and doors? well look no further, we have a great selection of pictures to keep you up-to-date with progress...
Concourse March 2012
The concourse area is coming on leaps and bounds and the new paving has started to be laid.
21st March
Quite a lot has been happening behind the redevelopment boards recently and progress has really been made.
To keep you in the loop take a look at the photo's below to see how the redevelopment is taking shape. There's an abundance of space and with the introduction of the new ceiling to floor windows, there will soon be plenty of light seeping through the ground floor.
Feb 2012
These are the first images of inside of the redevelopment area. As you can see, what was The Kiln has now started to be stripped back and walls are starting to come down to help create a more open plan area. All sectioned off areas such as The Kiln, Harvey's and Union Square are now being incorporated to create one big space.
Concourse Feb 2012
As you can see from these photo's the Concourse area has been completely excavated and is undergoing preparation for the new Concourse area. The artists impressions of this can be found here in the plans section. You can also see the removal of the phone box's that used to be situated outside the main entrance to the KUSU building.

These photograph's show the view inside and outside of the KUSU building as the main redevelopment process starts, as you can see from the images taken inside, both The Kiln & Harvey's catering outlets have been closed and boarded up ready for the there inclusion in the redevelopment process.
