K2
K2 is on the first floor of KUSU and is accessed via the outside entrance next to Union Square, or indirectly through the Lounge. Last summer has seen K2 undergo a major refurbishment - we like it...we are sure you will too!
K2's capacity is 455 which can be reduced to a more intimate 200. The venue is fitted out with a top-specification PA & lighting system and features a permanent 6m x 4m stage. There is a bottle bar open on big nights and also the newly built 'Bubble', a great chill out area to relax in and take a break from the dancefloor!
In it's previous incarnation, K2 played host to many HUGE names in the fields of dance & live music, with featured artistes being Paul Oakenfold, Adam F, LTJ Bukem, Yousef and four Mancunians lads in a band called OASIS!
Many societies and local promoters also run excellent nights in this top venue. Keep an eye out for posters advertising the next big night!
