The Speed programme or the Enterprise Fellowship Scheme (EFS) can help you set up your own business!

How can SPEED or EFS help you with your business idea?

  • £4000 - £8000 tohelp you start your business
  • Practical business training workshops
  • A business address on Keele Science and Business Park
  • Access to a hot desk in the Stepping Stone Incubation Unit
  • Expert mentoring for the twelve month duration of this part time scheme
  • Signposting to other sources of funding advice
  • Opportunities to network with other entrepreneurs and businesses

Who can apply?

  • Any EU citizen who is a currently registered student at Keele University
  • Any EU citizen who is either a recent graduate or a member of staff
  • Applicants can be either F/T or P/T and it is proven that the programme can be successfully untertaken in parallel with academic studies and that employers consider that the participation in the programme greatly enhances employability.

7. West Midlands Graduate Internships

 

Are you a graduate? Do you have an address in the West Midlands?
Are you unemployed or working 16 hours or less?
Would you be interested in gaining valuable work experience?
West Midlands Internships have been created to tackle the effect of the economic downturn by crerating valuable work experience placements.
There is no cost to employers and graduates gain access to Jobseekers Allowance and other benefits while they are on the 1-6 month internships, internships are 8-30 hours per week.
