Managing on a student budget can be hard; you have regular outgoings and irregular income. The trick is to plan and budget, but we know how hard it is to do this! There are all sorts of 'money saver' ideas out on the w.w.w. however, all you really need to know is what you are spending your money on and how this compares to your income, (don't just guess, be brave and open your bank statements) it will help you plan how much you can spend each week without getting to the end of term without money to get home!
