KUSU has an Environmental Committee that meets twice a year to discuss environmental issues within the students union building and how they can be dealt with, and also the promotion of green issues across campus. The committee currently consists of:

After you have fitted or had fitted a carpet at home there is always a remnant over that's too good to throw away but too small to fit out another room. Don't throw it away if it's big enough have it made into a rug. Most independent carpet shops will over-lock carpet remnants for 50p-£1 per 30cm - the end result can work out as little as £10 for a decent size rug - bargain!
