KUSU has an Environmental Committee that meets twice a year to discuss environmental issues within the students union building and how they can be dealt with, and also the promotion of green issues across campus. The committee currently consists of:

Green Graduate,
from the admirable Keele University Sustainable Business Programme which offers unemployed graduates
an
opportunity to work on environmental projects
began a month’s placement in March 2010 within
the department. Jenny focused her time
on looking at alternative/saving energy initiatives within KUSU
and updating
the Union’s environmental webpage. Jenny’s
input
proved very valuable resulting in her placement being extended
