Green Week

The start of February sees the next Green Week on campus.

Recycling

KUSU has a large Recycling Station at the rear of the building where all aluminium cans, glass bottles and newspaper can be recycled.  There is also a large skip used to collect all cardboard.

During 2008 from January to December KUSU Recycled over 120,000 non-returnable glass bottles, 12 tonnes of cardboard, 5 sacks of printer cartridges and 4.68 tonnes of waste paper!

Where can I recycle on Keele Campus?

AquAid

KUSU also hold a certificate from AquAid as we use water coolers from one of their local distributers.

From the AquAid website: "Our association over the years with Christian Aid and Pump Aid has enabled us to provide fresh drinking water for millions of people throughout the Third World. However, we have also long recognized the need to respect the world we live in, and the very real environmental damage that threatens this planet's existence."
