KUSU Jobshop is the One stop shop for students who are looking for part-time, term-time and vacation work in the local area, at home or abroad!

Keele students can fulfill your roles quickly, cost effectively and bring a multitude of skills to your work place.  Students are intelligent, flexible and hard working and by employing students you may also gain experience of the graduate before committing to an offer of full-time employment!

What the Jobshop Offers:

 - FREE ADVERTISING with a professional and friendly service
 - Access to a huge pool of talent to recruit from
 - Various advertising and service options depending on your needs
 - Specialist advice and guidance on:
    Employment regulations e.g. NMW, Tax, NI, holiday pay, working time directive etc
    Recruitment of non-UK students e.g. prevention of illegal working, identity checking
 - Creation and maintenance of links between Keele University and the local community
 - As members of NASES 'Vacation Link' scheme, students coming back to the Staffordshire area
   during the university vacations can use the Jobshop to find vacation work.

KUSU Jobs Fairs

 

Look out for our Jobs Fairs held throughout the year!

Keele Students' Union Jobs Fairs give visiting companies the opportunity to raise awareness of their organisation, as well as talking to and the chance to sign up a number of potential employees.
We welcome local small businesses as well as larger organisations both nationally and locally.

The main Jobs Fair is held during the month of October each year just after Welcome Week, in the Students' Union Ballroom which can host up to 50 stands! Tables, table covers and space for stands and pull ups are provided. Wireless internet can also be made available.

Interested employers are welcome to come and look at the venue before making a booking.
The Students' Union can also provide employers with rooms to do presentations to students and conduct interviews.  Contact the Jobshop for more information.
Concourse Newspaper 

 

The Students’ Union has its very own newspaper ‘Concourse’ published fortnightly and distributed all over campus to halls of residence and university departments.
