Student Trustees
Student
Trustees serve a 1 year term where they sit on the Board of Trustees
alongside the 5 Officer Trustees (Sabbatical Officers), as well as 2 Alumni Trustees and 1 External Trustee. As a Student Trustee, you have
a say on governance and democracy within KUSU, as well having your say
on financial items such as which departments money made goes into.
Having a full board of Trustees is essential to the smooth running of of
the Students' Union, which is a registered charity.

The open portfolio officers sit on the union's executive committee and are elected on the basis of their manifesto. Executive Committee scrutinises the day to day running of the union as well as determining political strategy.
Constitutional Affairs Committee
The Constitutional Affairs Committee (CAC) are the guardians of the constitution. They are the the steering group for the union's democratic meetings, and also are the interpreters of the constitution. CAC consists of the Chair of Student Council, the Consitiutional Affairs Secretary and the General Secretary.
Student Councillors
Student Council members represent a wide range of Keele
students and each has their own area of representative responsibility. The
student council hold the elected officers to account and help direct how the
union works, whilst also scrutinising proposed policy or constitutional
amendments. They might run campaigns with the help of the elected officers and
