Whether you are chatting with friends over a cosy bottle of wine, socialising over a cocktail at your mates 21st or simply chilling in peace over a freshly brewed coffee, Barista is the essential ingredient for spending quality time whatever time of day it is or whatever the occasion. The daily newspapers are delivered making it the perfect place to kick start your day before heading off to lectures.
Once called BJ's, Barista was the newest addition to the Students Union bar scene opening in September 2006. A popular venue for any occasion its the perfect place to spend the day, or night, in cosy surroundings before venturing off to other bars in the union.
Barista is also a popular venue for private events and can be booked free on all week nights although there is a small fee on Wednesdays and Fridays. The capacity is 50 but can be increased by removing the furniture. Please contact c.titterton@kusu.keele.ac.uk for more details.
